Whether you have found a bug, want to suggest a game, need to raise a copyright issue, or want to talk about advertising, the Gaming Topics team reads every message. This page explains the fastest way to reach us and what to include so we can act on your message instead of writing back to ask for details.

Email

The best way to reach us is by email:

contato@gamingtopics.com

Email reaches the same people who run the site and maintain the catalog. We aim to reply within a few business days.

Reporting a Game That Does Not Work

Broken games are the reports we act on fastest, because a game that does not load is a game nobody can play. To let us reproduce the problem on the first try, include:

  • The address of the game page, or simply the game's name.
  • Your browser and version, and whether you were on a phone, tablet, or computer.
  • What you did and what happened โ€” for example "the game loaded but the paddle would not move with the arrow keys", rather than "it is broken".
  • Whether it happens every time or only happened once.

If a game will not respond to your keyboard, it is worth checking the controls listed on its page first: several games on the site use specific keys, and a few two-player games expect two people at the same keyboard.

Suggesting a Game

We are always looking for games to add, with one hard requirement: we can only host games whose license permits it. Open-source games under MIT, GPL, or Creative Commons licenses are ideal. If you are suggesting a game, a link to its source repository or its license helps enormously. If you are the author of a game and would like it hosted here, say so โ€” we credit authors as their license requires and are happy to link back.

Copyright and Takedown Requests

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, please read our DMCA and copyright policy first. It lists exactly what a valid notice must contain. Sending a notice with the required elements the first time means we can act on it immediately rather than coming back to you for missing information. Notices can be sent to the same email address above.

Privacy Requests

Requests about your personal data โ€” access, correction, deletion, or objections to how data is used for advertising โ€” are covered in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we hold and the choices available to you. Send privacy requests to the email address above and describe what you are asking for.

Advertising and Partnerships

Gaming Topics is funded by advertising. If you want to discuss advertising on the site or another form of partnership, email us with a short description of what you have in mind and we will come back to you.

What We Cannot Help With

  • Accounts on other websites. We only run this site. If you are locked out of a game account somewhere else, we have no access to it.
  • Scores from other players. We do not remove or adjust another player's scores on request.
  • Game development support. Most games here are third-party open-source projects. Bug reports about a game's original code are best raised with its author, though we are glad to hear about problems in the version we host.

Response Times

We read everything that arrives. Reply times vary with volume, and detailed reports get answered faster than vague ones simply because we can act on them straight away. Thank you for taking the time to write.
